GPC Ethyl Alcohol Now Non-GMO Project Verified

We are pleased to announce the continued expansion of our Non-GMO program with the receipt of Non-GMO Project Verification for ethyl alcohol at our Muscatine, Iowa, production facility.

“Non-GMO Project Verified ethyl alcohol from GPC is manufactured to high purity standards and is often a cost-effective viable option to sugar cane based alternatives,” states Mark Ricketts, Vice President, Alcohol Products. “Plus, GPC ethyl alcohol is produced in the USA!”

Since 1943, Grain Processing Corporation has produced and marketed high-quality ethyl alcohol made from one source – #2 yellow dent corn. Our alcohol products are sold all over the world for use in a wide variety of applications demanding the highest possible degree of purity. And, although we have offered Non-GMO ethyl alcohol for over 15 years utilizing our own stringent traceability practices, participation with the Non-GMO Project underscores our commitment to transparency and high standards in response to this consumer demand.

Non-GMO Project Verification is the only Non-GMO, third-party verification in North America. Applicants submit products and processes to independent review, according to comprehensive standards developed by industry experts.
